hi there, love! ♡ i am doing okay, and thank you so much for asking! (i hope that you are doing splendidly, too! 🌟😊💖) i’ve been on vacation visiting some family several states away from my home for the past few days, and today is my last day before flying back tomorrow — lots of sitting around inside heh, but it’s actually quite nice to do so in a place that’s unfamiliar? 🙈✨
i always love listening to old holiday music // ballet orchestral pieces during this time of year, because it completely changes the atmosphere of the world! 💗 even if it isn’t snowing outside, something about the right music just puts you in such a magical space. 😌🎶🎄 i also adore doing little things to liven up the room in other ways — lighting cinnamon or vanilla scented candles is a big one! also consider… ♡ smoothing peppermint body lotion onto your skin; drinking a cozy, seasonal tea blend; watching the classic Nutcracker ballet + black-and-white holiday films beneath soft blankets // whilst wearing fuzzy socks; going on an ice-skating date; bundling up and visiting a little tea shop; taking a long shower or bath w/ sugary-scented bath products, or writing sweet letters or cards to send off to the ones you love! ♥️💌🕊🙏🏻
my goal for summer is to be glowing, healthy, and fit. hopefully around 97 pounds and with a sustainable exercise routine – a nice combination of running, weights, and yoga/pilates. i want to eat whole fruit for breakfast, i want to hike on the weekends, i want to shine.
Please don’t take your pets for granted. Even if you’re frustrated that your dog has been barking all day or your bird has been screaming for attention, remember you are all they have in this world. Give your fish that extra water change. Give your dog or cat that tummy rub they’ve been begging for. Chop up some fresh fruit as a treat for your rodents or reptiles. Just spend some time with them. Be compassionate to your animals. They are living creatures that are alive simply because you wish them to be. They may only be a small part in your life, but to them, you are their everything.
