I tried making “Hoshigaki ”
Hoshigaki is a kind of dried fruit made by drying Japanese astringent persimmons.
In order to make Hoshigaki, the peel of the persimmon should be removed while leaving the T-shaped stem attached, and tie this T-shaped part of the stem to a string.
Boil the astringent persimmons
in hot water for 10 seconds.
Dry them for a week to 2 weeks in the sun.
(sometimes to rub one’s hands)
