If you really want an aesthetic grimoire:

Buy yourself two notebooks. A cheap 99¢ composition book to store your original notes in and the fancy aesthetic one that you will spend time transcribing your notes into.

This gives a bonus of helping you understand the material you’re working with better since you’ll have to write it down twice.

Low Calorie Gluten Free Pancakes That Dont Taste Like Shit

okay they’re more like silver dollar pancakes(i.e they’re small) but that’s besides the point. they’re low cal, they taste good, the texture isn’t gross, and my mom likes them.

ingreds:

  • one cup oats (150 cals)
  • ¾ teaspoon baking powder
  • a lil pinch of salt
  • 1 egg (70 cals)
  • ½ cup almond milk (15 cals)
  • you can add sugar but i don’t think it’s totally necessary if your going to add syrup on top but do what taste good to you!!

batter total: 235 cals*

per pancake: 26 cals

method

  • turn the oats into oat flour; this can be done with a blender or a food processor.
  • add salt and baking powder
  • in a separate bowl, blend the egg and almond milk
  • add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix
  • let the batter sit for 5-10 minutes so the ingredients can “get to know eachother”
  • spray your pan with 0 cal nonstick whatever, (my pan is nonstick so i just skip this but do what works for you)
  • i used this soup spoon thing that’s basically a wide tablespoon to scoop the batter onto the pan
  • each pancake should be about 3 inches-ish across.

this recipe made 9 silver dollar pancakes and if my math is correct then it will come out too 26 cals each! they’re really tasty with syrup, honey, jam, nut butter…etc

these are one of my safe foods, especially on days where my family wants to have breakfast together

*just keep in mind that the recipe is flexible and you may need to add more almond milk, or more oat flour, or if you want you could add flax seed, or banana or whatever to it, and then keep in mind that the calorie count would change
