To hear the compliments. You’ve lost weight. You’re looking great! Wow, your legs!
To be dainty. I want my future girlfriend to be able to hold me and Carry me bridal style without straining
To be beautiful. When I’m thin my cheekbones will pop, my jawline will be sharp, my legs will look longer. I will be beautiful when I’m skinny.
To attract people. I’m far too ugly and awkward now, I’m weird and strange and can’t talk. But if I’m pretty and awkward? Then I’ll be adorable when I stutter, when I blush it will be cute and not ugly like a fat, pink pig.
When I’m looking down at the ground I won’t have a double chin
Bigger, noticeable thigh gap
“Do you eat?”
Stop craving sugar and sugary foods. If I stop eating sugar I won’t want it, I won’t be fat and my skin will look great.
Accentuated figure. My hips will jut out more, my butt will look bigger, my collarbones sharper and my arms more delicate.
To be happy. Once I’m thin I’ll have one less problem to worry about. I won’t be totally happy and I’ll still have other problems but at least I won’t obsess over weightloss so much anymore.
simultaneously wishing i were a woodland fairy, a maiden in the scottish highlands who is actually a selkie, a victorian naturalist who scandalously wears pants, a 1960s schoolgirl by the sea, a friendly forest witch, a reef-dwelling mermaid, a ghostly gothic heroine, or maybe a cat
Honestly I’m not too motivated myself at the moment aha but here are some tips I know of that may be of use 💛
Eliminate all distractions – get rid of your phone, block websites you use or get rid of the laptop if possible. Only keep the things you need on the desk with you.
Set your own deadlines – don’t just look to the teachers deadlines andleave it all to the last minute. Maybe have an essay so you could say do the intro on Monday, the main body from Tuesday to Thursday and the conclusion on Friday.
To do lists – make small to do lists at the start of the day of tasks you must complete by the end of the day. Break larger task down into smaller ones so you can do them but by bit and not feel overhwelmed.
Find out why you procrastinate. Do you think you can’t do it? Is the topic boring? Do you feel overwhelmed? The first step to tackling procrastination is understanding why you do it.
Simply force yourself to study. If you have to then you need to just force yourself to study. I remember doing this around GCSEs (I couldn’t study for a few reasons) and it ended up with me actually passing subjects that I was basically going to fail.
Know your aims. Maybe you could make a mood board of your goals or write them down and keep it near your desk. I like the idea of writing something on the first day of the year or study to say what you’re doing and why you are at the moment doing it
Honestly all this information is in a bit of a jumble aha but I’m hoping I’ve said something you can use. Thanks for the ask and good luck in your studies 💛
