My experience dropping 10 lb (~the little things~)
🖤You notice that gap between your thighs grow
🖤You feel so much lighter, you can’t even imagine going back
🖤Backpacks start to slip and fall off your shoulders, the straps have a harder time clinging onto bonier shoulders
🖤Your waistbands have less fat hanging over them
🖤You start to lose the need to suck in a ton
🖤My ring!! I’ve worn since forever!! Now flies off my finger if I move my hand around, when before it would barely move and even leave an imprint in my skin. I might even have to buy a size smaller!
🖤You feel more confident with sex, knowing you have a 10 lb of fat difference now
🖤Going to the gym is no longer shameful or feeling like you just walked into a party you don’t have an invitation for, people can see the difference and see you are working hard
🖤My thigh high socks stay thigh high! (Instead of falling down under the pressure of chubby thighs)
🖤My jackets that used to hug me too tightly before now have extra space in them to move around
🖤Bras/underwear have much less fat bubbling around them
🖤This might be tmi but I used to have this weird outline(???) below my stomach and above my thighs, and it looked like an indent in my fat where panties would be, and I hatedddd the way the pudgey fat casted shadows, but now it’s almost gone and my stomach is much flatter
🖤Skinnier wrists!! Skinnier ankles!!
🖤Less double chin, more sharp face angles
🖤Motivation and self control comes much easier because you are seeing your hard work paying off, your own body starts to become motivation instead of looking at other bodies doing well
If before, you were doubting that losing 10 lb is worth it or means anything, just know it is.
Note: My experience going from 140 lb to 130 lb. I ate 600/1200 cal a day starting Oct. 1st til Nov. 25th (about 2 months). I workout about 5/6x a week for roughly 1.0/1.5 hr a day. I typically do half cardio (30 min elliptical) and half weightlifting (30 min). I typically burn 400/600 cal daily. I had some bad eating days so I didn’t reach the -10 lb as fast as I could have, but I’m still proud since I have more muscle because of my workout dedication.
