positive things about the cold season

written by a realistic person, so this is not the typical aesthetic post that says cozy sweaters, books and hot drinks

• you don’t have to share your room with 97 moths and bugs
• no wasp will spontaneously and aggressively fly in your face
• everything on the streets gets less busy and a bit more quiet
• the first snow on the streets, before car pollution makes it grey
• not only me, but everyone has the sniffles and carries tissues
• enormous wool scarfs that you can wrap around the entire body
• it doesn’t matter if your legs aren’t shaved bc no one can see it
• no anxiety about cat calls bc obviously there is no naked skin
• a heating blanket because i sure as hell want to get one soon
