I personally live for Knot/Cord magic. It is easy to use and to learn, perfect for the baby witch who doesn’t know where to start when casting their first spell. I also haven’t found a non-wiccan source for Knot Magic at all, so I’m going to make one that goes into it a little more for you guys!

What is Knot/Cord Magic?
Knot/Cord Magic is pretty simple. It is a type of magic that uses string as the spell itself.
How Does Knot Magic Work?
For Wiccan’s(usually) knot magic is done with a 9 inch piece of string(or by traditional wicca it’s nine feet) and as you chant a nine line poem/chant as you tie each knot into the string(at equal intervals). This is the spell over all. The way it works is you are putting your intent into each knot you are tying and it holds that intent until you are ready for the spell to end.
What Can it Be Used For?
Knot Magic can be used for any type of spell, from curses to love. The Possibilities are endless!

How Do I Cast a Knot Magic Spell?
Casting a Knot magic spell is simple. Most of the time you are tying knots as you think of your intent until you reach the number nine or, until you feel you are done^^ The intent or better known as the Chant can be thought or spoken aloud.
How Does Knot Magic Work?
Knot Magic works by holding your intent inside each knot you make. If your intent is different for each knot, then as a whole the knot spell will use all of the intents and work together.
Where Can I Do Knot Magic?
That’s the amazing part about knot magic. You can do it literally everywhere! No on is going to really question why you have a little but of yarn or sting on you. It’s amazing.

It’s simple. It’s easy to learn. And its good to use when you have to be discrete about casting a spell!
How Do I Disassemble My Knot Spell?
You untie each knot you made really. Especially if you no longer have a use for the knot spell anymore. For traditional Wicca Knot magic(with the nine knots) you’re supposed to untie one knot a day until there are no more knots to untie.
